Our Promise to Tomorrow...Inspiring and Empowering Today's Children
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Elkhart County have been serving children in Indiana since 1956. Even then, community leaders recognized the importance of providing support to our children. Today's children are maturing in a more complicated world than existed many years ago. And while all are challenged, too many face circumstances that seriously jeopardize their healthy development. But none are without hope! Our four Elkhart County Clubs are now serving over 3,000 youth, ages 6 through 18.
This holiday Boys & Girls Clubs of America and Boys & Girls Clubs of Elkhart County are proud to partner with The Bon-Ton Stores (Bon-Ton, Bergner’s, Boston Store, Carson’s, Elder-Beerman, Herberger’s and Younkers) as part of our Give the Gift of a Great Future campaign. Bon-Ton shoppers can purchase a teddy bear in-store or online beginning in October through the holiday season or make a donation at any Bon-Ton store. The adorable, plush teddy bears are dressed up with a holiday bow and retail for $10.00. Your purchase generates a minimum donation of $2.75 to Boys & Girls Clubs. Beginning November 16th in-store customers can donate $3.00 in exchange for a $15 coupon. Boys & Girls Clubs across the country thank Bon-Ton for supporting the end-of-year campaign. I hope you will join with us and your local Bon-Ton store this holiday season by supporting Boys & Girls Clubs in your community and across the nation.
Mentoring - A Relationship That Lasts
Somewhere at the Boys & Girls Club is a child that needs you. Struggling in school or just hoping to have someone to talk with, there is a Club member wishing they had someone to look up to. You can be that difference maker in the life of a young child, forming a lasting relationship by volunteering your time once a week. Your strength and character can guide a young person further in the right direction. Partner with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Elkhart County to make that happen.
